The customer is a supermarket warehouse to use a part of the fresh-keeping cold storage. The storage of apples is nearly 10 tons each time. The warehouse volume is about 90 cubic meters. The storage temperature of the apples is -2 degrees. Therefore, we recommend a 5-hp Cooper air conditioner. The purchaser of the equipment was a master engineer who did cold storage installation. During the installation and commissioning process, an episode appeared.

Usually, the storage temperature of the fresh-keeping warehouse is more than 0 degrees, and the suitable storage temperature for apples is minus 2 degrees, so this place needs to modify the shutdown temperature of the thermostat. After the modification, when the goods were purchased and the temperature was turned on, it was found that the temperature dropped from normal temperature (about 27 degrees in Shanghai) to 2 degrees above zero, but the temperature fell very slowly when it reached 0 degrees. The compressor has been running continuously for more than 3 hours, and the temperature is still hovering at zero degrees. If the customer finds a problem, contact our manufacturer's after-sales technology in time. After communicating with the customer on the installation and use process, we have put forward several points that customers may need to pay attention to:

1) The warehouse is an old warehouse, and there is a certain amount of moisture at the bottom. For such old warehouses, the temperature is usually slower, but after the temperature drops, this problem will not exist afterwards.

2) Apples have a high moisture content and a high stacking density. As we all know in physics, water has latent heat at 0 degrees. This process may also take more time to cool down.

3) The customer system has a short vacuum time. And the operation is not standardized (do not use the compressor in the unit to vacuum), and it is not sure whether the vacuum is completely cleaned, so it is recommended to vacuum again.

After the after-sales technical support and the on-site installation master pass through, some adjustments and improvements were made on the spot, the previous problem was solved the next day, and the previous problem did not reappear later.
